After initially training at Total Barber Academy in Shoreditch, London, Tom was taken on at Hurwundeki salon in East London, where he was further trained by Creative Director Ki Lee.

Following a move to Cambridge, he picked up more experience at the City’s Barbers and Salons and worked freelance as a mobile barber, visiting his client base in their own homes all over Cambridge.

In January 2026, Tom joined the talented team at Douce Salon in Eddington, Cambridge, specialising in men’s haircutting and styling.
